Schooner Cove: Journey's End
Released 2005
The title refers to the large spruce stump that for twenty years was a major fixture of the beach at Schooner Cove at the north end of the Pacific Rim National Park. Every few years a particularly violent winter storm would cause it to shift position slightly until finally in 2009 it was broken into pieces and has now disappeared. It provided the foreground for several of my paintings of the area.
