Although I am easily prone to seasickness I am attracted to the sense of power of the open ocean. The two seiners depicted here, the Ocean King and the Phyllis Cormack, are both well known boats among B.C.’s fishing communities. They are well designed to handle the rise and fall of the offshore swells even if the evening sky could be the harbinger of an October storm.
