If one takes a flight up the west coast of Vancouver Island and onwards to the Alaskan Panhandle there are very few views that compare to the intricate beauty of Clayoquot Sound. The mix of white sandy beaches intertwined with a myriad of islands set off by distant snow capped peaks and covered in a dark almost entirely unlogged rainforest makes for a spectacular combination. The arc of sand here shows Chesterman Beach with the Wickaninnish Inn nestled at the north end of the beach. Lone Cone on Meares Island is the dominant mountain in the middle of the painting. The town of načiks / Tofino lies hidden behind a layer of forested foreground at the north tip of the Esowista Peninsula.

What is a Block Mount Print?
A block mount reproduction print is a digital copy of Mark’s paintings printed onto premium photo paper then mounted to a 3/8” MDF board with a UV lamination applied. It is finished with black beveled edges and the rear has a pre-cut hanger slot for easy hanging. This is a great product for anyone who likes the aesthetic of a matte finish and wants a durable, easy to clean, easy to hang piece of art.
